Last Tuesday & Chill ever

Dear friends,

It’s over! I’ve been wayyy too busy lately and it’s made me realize that I need to cut some things from my schedule to make more time for hanging out on the couch with a book and my three-legged furry friend. Unfortunately, Tuesday & Chill is on the chopping block, and next week will be the last time. Please come, bring a friend, let’s make the last time worth it ❤

We’ll do an oldschool ‘huiskamer’. I will cook vegan food (please sign up on by filling out this google form on Tuesday before 12:00, and show up if you registered), you pay 2,50 and we’ll eat together, laugh, and talk. We start at 18:30, but feel free to come earlier to help us cook.

I hope to see all of you there, and who knows what the future will bring 🙂

Short Film Night

Hey everybody!

First of all: thanks for coming to our pizza night! We had a lot of fun 🙂 and we will be eating pizza for the rest of the week.

Next up is a short film night! We want to watch Hair for sure and maybe some Pixar short movies, but we are looking for more interesting short (5-25) movies from all over the world. If you know any, please react under this post, send us an email (tuesdaychillnijmegen@gmail.com) or send us a message on facebook!

Please bring 1€ and fill out the google form so we know which snacks to buy. 🙂

Tuesday&Chill

Pizza night

First of all: thanks to everybody who came to our game night, we had a lot of fun! ❤

Then: what’s next? We are happy to announce our PIZZA NIGHT that’s going to take place next Tuesday (11/2)! We are going to buy lots of pizza toppings so everybody can create their own pizza. We will use the kitchen at the Student’s Chaplaincy. We start at around 18:30 and ask 3€ to cover the expenses (unfortunately, groceries aren’t for free 😦 ). You can sign up for the event here.

We are really looking forward to this event and we hope to see many of you there! You don’t need any pizza baking skills to join. And don’t worry if you don’t know anyone, we’re very very happy to see new people and we want to make everybody feel welcome and included!

Who are we?

Welcome to our web page! We are a group of students from Nijmegen and beyond, and every Tuesday night we will organize a fun, interesting, or relaxing activity at the Student’s Chaplaincy.

We are just starting up everything, so everything is fresh, new and slightly underdeveloped. 🙂 Please let us know if you have any questions or suggestions, or if you want to collaborate with us! You can find us on Tuesday evenings in the Student’s Church Nijmegen, you can find us on facebook, or you can send us an e-mail at tuesdaychillnijmegen@gmail.com.

The activities we want to organise include board game nights, movie nights, a mario kart tournament, discussion evenings, cooking together, and lectures. Each activity will be announced both on facebook and on this blog, with a link to the Google Form where you can subscribe for the activity (although we won’t kick you out if you just show up 😉 ). We will ask a small financial contribution to pay for drinks&snacks during the activity, but we don’t make any money off this project.

We welcome all students, both international and Dutch, first-years and those who should have finished their master’s a decade ago. We do not have any religious or ideological affiliations.

Our first activity will be a Game Night the 4th of February, more information will come soon. We hope to see you there!
